World Cup Matchday 4: Germany vs Curacao, Netherlands vs Japan

On Sunday, eight more teams begin their journeys to the 2026 World Cup. Germany will face Curacao in the 21st World Cup, while the Netherlands will face Japan. The event will be held at the Houston Stadium. Germany, who won the semi-finals in 2014, have lost in the group stage the last two times. They are trying to make progress again under current coach Julian Nagelsmann.

Curaçao, the smallest country to participate in the World Cup, was formed in 2010. They beat Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago in CONCACAF competition to make their first World Cup trip.

In the next match, when the Netherlands take on Japan, you can expect a tough match. Japan FC has had an excellent performance in World Cup development and recently failed to advance to the semi-finals.

In the third match, Ivory Coast and Ecuador meet. Both the teams are looking to top their group. Ivory Coast are looking to return to the World Cup after a gap of 12 years. Ecuador will be looking to climb their rankings for the win.
